Position Overview • Cut out and assembles fiberglass hulls, decks and small parts • Installs hardware components, bilge system, water, hydraulic and fuel fittings, hoses, tanks and connections • Performs electrical assembly of consoles, installs and connects electrical wiring and components • Uses a variety of hand and power/air tools, saws, grinders and other tools as necessary • Follow specific job instructions, frequently reading and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion • May include handling and application of sealants, adhesives, and primers, along with proper disposal Requirements: Physical Requirements • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Must be able to work in a hot environment • Wear required PPE that may include gloves, safety glasses, aprons and chemical resistant suits, and safety shoes. • Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment • Ability to work a 10 hour shift standing, bending, climbing and reaching • Flexibility to work overtime if needed. • No allergies to fiberglass or chemicals used in this process Desired Skills • Must be able to use basic hand, power and air tools applicable to the job • Must be able to work with a team to accomplish departmental goals • Must follow safety standards and procedures including chemical handling and PPE • Must be dependable and punctual. • Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions • Previous marine experience preferred • Must be able to adhere to quality and efficiency standard Additional Info: We offer the following benefits through our company's employee benefit plan: Medical, Dental, and Vision Life and Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Retirement Plan (401K/Roth) Paid Holidays and Vacation Time
