BrandDescriptionPosition Summary: This role is responsible for executing daily work activities and overseeing the performance of a group of 10 or more seasonal employees. The position involves supervising multiple processes within the assigned areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide day to day direction to training and seasonal staff as needed.
  • Assist in training processes and specific duties and serve as the first point of contact for associate questions and concerns.
  • Track and/or review productivity to ensure goals, deadlines and outputs are met.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to associates regarding performance and productivity.
  • Able to conduct start-up meetings for the entire department as needed
  • Assist in updating and documenting procedural changes and is proficient at all functions within the department.
  • Impact retention positively by fostering respectful team environment that supports Workplace Values through professional communication, motivation and timely problem resolution
  • Maintain and actively support safety programs, immediately addressing safety issues and ensuring proper usage of equipment
  • Coordinate work flow utilizing WMS and assigns specific work assignments
  • Proactively address bottlenecks and assist with problem resolution · Report shortages, trends and issues proactively to avoid or head off potential problems
  • Ensure compliance with all department procedures and standards are followed and met
  • Work on the floor in a production role during non-peak performing manual labor as required
  • Perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned.
Ability to work in cold storage -10° to 40° as required. Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours a day. Ability to lift up to 30lbs continuously SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Pickers, RF Users, Equipment Operators, Material Handlers Number of Employees supervised directly or through subordinates: 10-15 RequirementsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required. 2+ year of supervisory or team leader experience. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively provide feedback regarding departmental and individual performance. Strong PC and systems experience. Previous warehouse management system knowledge desired. Ability to work in cold storage -10° to 40° as required. Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours a day.
