POSITION OVERVIEW The Assembly Parts Control Specialist 1 is responsible for managing the flow of returned and canceled assembly components with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. This role involves inspecting, processing, and documenting returned and canceled parts from assembly or kitting operations, ensuring that all actions are accurately recorded and in compliance with company procedures. TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurate discernment and processing of return and cancelation components from Assembly/Kitting
  • Assist in the reassignment of static inventory
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment (6S/COP)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline efficiency
  • Support Inventory Control activities as required
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
    • Ability to accurately inspect, record, and process returned items and associated documentation.
    • Ability to identify issues with returns and cancellations and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow within the role, including understanding the specific procedures for handling returns and cancellations.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
    • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or certifications related to inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations is a plus.
    • No prior professional experience required; however, any experience in inventory management, assembly, or related fields is advantageous. Internships or volunteer work related to warehouse operations, inventory control, or assembly processes can be beneficial.
    • Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
    • Knowledge of basic inventory control principles and practices is a plus.
    • Strong organizational abilities to manage and sort returned components effectively.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and documenting processes.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems as needed.
    • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
    • Ability to manage time efficiently to handle various tasks associated with processing returns and cancellations.
