Assembly Tech ll, 2nd shift - Kondex : Job Details

Job Type Full-time Description Kondex Corporation is looking for Assembly Techs to join the Sickle Assembly department. Current opening on 2nd shift 2nd Shift hours: Monday - Friday 3:30 pm to 12 am (Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs) $3.00 per hour shift premium Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Basic manual assembly using pneumatic and hand tools.
• Reading prints and routings.
• Operate specialized machines or processes within the department such as CNC machine, punch press, drill press, automated assembly line, etc.
• Performing basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices.
• Wrapping completed products in preparation for shipment.
• Closing orders in computer system.
• Perform manual material handling.
• Performing 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
• May assist in training full time, part time, or temporary associates in the Sickle Assembly department.

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prior experience using basic hand tools is preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Prior computer experience in a manufacturing environment (ERP/MRP (Epicor) or HMI systems) is preferred.
