Assembly Technician I - Synerfac : Job Details

Nature of Duties: * The Electronic Assembler will build Circuit Card Assemblies using Bill of Material, drawings and work instructions * Read and understand all documents, drawings, BOM s Work Instructions and instructions to assemble * 1+ year experience in electronics manufacturing preferred, but not necessary * Exposure to use of hand tools * Motivation to learn to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions or by following drawings or diagrams * Ability to communicate issues to management that may improve efficiency and product quality * Pride in workmanship * Experience in face paced, turn around department * Capable of walking 200 feet, several times per day, to wash circuit boards * Ability to lift 15 lbs. or more when needed * Other activities and tasks assigned by the management team Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Pay Rate $17hr-$19hr depending on experience Job Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: * Knowledge of production environment preferred * Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous * Problem-solving skills * Analytical thinking skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent attention to detail and good organization * Capable of working independently to a production schedule * Ability to be part of team and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization. * Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. * Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively * High school or equivalent (Preferred)
