Job Description :

Our client in the automotive industry is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Costa Mesa, CA (100% on-site)

Pay Range: $20.00-$27.00/hr

What's the Job?

  • Perform visual inspection of various automotive components for coating integrity, color requirements, and damage per SOP instructions.

  • Perform mechanical assembly of various automotive components using automatic and manual presses, grease guns, and other assembly tools and equipment.

  • Perform final inspection of assembled components using various inspection equipment, gages, etc.

  • Use computer systems and bar code scanners for lot traceability of components.

  • Understand production schedule and daily assembly requirements of various product lines of parts.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Relevant mechanical assembly experience preferred but not required.

  • Effective communication skills

  • Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements.

  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)

  • Visual and Mechanical inspection and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
