Assembly Toolmaker - 3rd shift - Magna International : Job Details

S:Able to operate a variety of machine tools (i.e. Tig/ Mig/ Arc Welders, lathes, milling machines, etc.)Troubleshoot for problems during production. Verify conformance of machines or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, and alignments. Follow safe work practices and company work procedures at all times. Maintain tooling Quality STD's and Preventative/ Predictive Maintenance program to ensure compliance with QS 9000 requirements. Perform other duties as requires. Able to work overtime as required.?POSITION REQUIREMENTSPHYSICAL DEMANDS Manufacturing Environment:80% Standing and walking 20% Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, or balancing. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. EDUCATION: Associates Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school. Tool and Die Maker with related experience/familiar with assembly tooling work.
