Job Description :

Akkodis is seeking an Asset Coordinator onsite in Everett, WA. This position requires someone who has experience with Inventory management or asset management in a manufacturing/production environment. We are hiring some soon so don't wait.

  • The pay range is $28 an hour on a W2 long term contract.

As the Calibration Program expands, the need for meticulous management of our assets becomes paramount. An On-Site Asset Coordinator is crucial to maintain the seamless operation of projects, ensuring they align with our business objectives and meet the stringent demands of our calibration schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION

Asset Inventory Management and Documentation:

  • Inventory Accuracy: Keeping a precise record of calibration tools and equipment.
  • Audits: Regular checks to confirm inventory details and correct any errors quickly.
  • Reporting: Producing reports on how assets are used, their maintenance, and calibration outcomes, requiring some technical knowledge to understand the data.
  • Data Integrity: Ensuring all information entered into the system is complete and correct.
  • Data Organization: Systematically sorting data to simplify searching and analyzing.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with others to rectify any data inconsistencies.
  • Data Entry: Inputting asset-related information into databases or systems accurately and effectively.

Asset Procurement and Disposal:

  • Acquisition Coordination: Partnering with procurement for obtaining necessary calibration tools and equipment.
  • Asset Disposal: Handling the removal of outdated or faulty tools following rules and company policy.
  • Vendor Assessment: Reviewing and selecting vendors for calibration services.

Asset Maintenance and Calibration:

  • Calibration Management: Planning and supervising the calibration of tools to ensure precision and function.
  • Technician Coordination: Organizing calibration technicians to maintain schedule adherence.
  • Record Keeping: Keeping detailed logs of maintenance and calibration for audits and compliance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Cross-functional Liaison: Working with various teams (technicians, engineers, procurement) to manage asset-related needs and issues.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Efficiently coordinating with all involved parties for the movement and management of assets.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

  • Educational Requirements: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Certifications in inventory management, procurement, or asset management could be advantageous.
  • Experience Requirements: Previous experience in inventory or asset management, particularly in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Experience working with calibration tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with conducting audits and generating reports.
  • Proven track record of coordinating with procurement and disposal of assets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and database software.
  • Basic technical knowledge of calibration procedures and the tools/equipment involved.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and generate accurate reports.
  • Knowledge of maintenance scheduling and calibration processes.
