Summary:

Strata Clean Energy owns a near 1GW portfolio of solar power and energy storage assets in what we refer to as our Independent Power Producer division and is seeking an Asset Manager to join our dynamic team in Durham, NC that is responsible for managing these assets as the portfolio continues to grow. This role works closely with a small Asset Management team as well as other key stakeholders in Strata s Finance and Operations & Maintenance departments to carry out the responsibilities listed. We re seeking an experienced renewable energy professional who has familiarity with a range of topics from deal structures and contractual requirements to technical operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Directly oversee our $1+ billion portfolio of renewable energy assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring optimal cash flows for business needs and timely payment of expenses.

Oversee the creation and conduct thorough review of monthly operating reports, investor compliance certificates, and other regularly scheduled deliverables to maintain compliance with all project agreements.

Review asset performance data and collaborate with Operations & Maintenance teams to recommend corrective actions justified by revenue loss with the goal of optimizing company cash flows needed for strategic activities.

Develop relationships with investors and lenders to keep them apprised of their portfolio s operational and financial performance.

Coordinate the onboarding of new projects to the IPP portfolio including review of contracts, financial models, and engineering drawing sets to ensure smooth handover.

Model scenarios and prepare cost-benefit analyses for potential asset repair or improvement expenditures.

Oversee regulatory compliance for the portfolio, including requirements from FERC, NERC, DOE, EIA, and various other federal, state, and local agencies.

Build solid connections with landowners from whom we lease land for our operating sites.

Conduct site visits as needed to visually assess conditions and document any issues.

Ensure smooth communication with other Strata departments and provide support as needed.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Four-year Bachelor s degree required; Finance or Renewable Energy focus preferred.

2-3 years of renewable energy, structured finance, contracts, and/or business operations experience required.

Excellent written communication, organization, and time management skills required.

Demonstrated initiative in learning technical concepts and new systems preferred.
