Asset Manager - Insight Global : Job Details

Insight Global is seeking two project-based Asset Specialists to join a local government agency in supporting an asset tagging project. In this role, the Asset Specialist will travel between ~20 locations across a single county and is responsible for the accurate and efficient tagging and tracking of the countys computer assets. This includes cataloging, labeling, and maintaining records of all IT equipment within the county organization. To be successful in this role, it is imperative that the Asset Manager has strong attention to detail, foundational understanding of computer equipment, and a drivers license with a clean driving record. This is a 6-month contract position that offers competitive hourly compensation and option to elect in benefits. Day-to-day responsibilities are as follows:- Digitally log and label all IT equipment, including servers, computers, mobile devices, printers, etc. - Upload and maintain asset data in county asset management database- Conduct inventory counts- Assist in creating of asset management procedures- Coordinate with IT team to operate as efficiently as possibleWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
