Job Description :
General Summary: Maintains database records and accuracy checks. Updates and creates assignments per service orders and work orders. Maintains information via company systems, software's and databases, creates reports, trains employees, develops and maintains procedural information. Facility assignments associated with work orders and service orders. Essential Job Functions / Certifications:
  • Assigns cable pairs; DLC, and fiber to the home equipment; and other plant information to service orders, work orders.
  • Maintains records database, including accurate addresses.
  • Monitors card and equipment availability, assigns equipment to work orders when requested, and updated databases/
  • Communicate all assignments information to drafting personnel and crosschecks data for accuracy.
  • Creates preliminary plant cuts including DLC cutovers and fiber cuts, verifies accounts for accurate records and correct discrepancies.
  • Creates final plant cuts including DLC cutovers and fiber cuts, verifies accounts for accurate records and corrects discrepancies and reports them to engineering team. Properly uses SDP cut tools, notifies appropriate departments in compliance with tariff
  • Creates all new records in database, DLC's, Fiber Hub, Copper facilities, etc.
  • Work through SPD plant audit reports on a daily basis.
  • Supervise the process by which we, assign cable pairs; DLC, and fiber to the home equipment; and other plant information to service orders, work orders.
  • Monitor Web and database interface to make resolution to data and insure proper workflow of processes for daily service orders after performing cable pair, carrier system, and DSL and line equipment assignments.
  • Perform systems administration associated with service orders in the central office switching system.
  • Enter, maintain and reconcile facilities data in the automated Plant Records System.
  • Maintain and update Plant and Central Office record database formats including Access and SQL, using initiative and independent action to make complex decisions that are required for daily operations and record keeping.
  • Perform necessary updates to plant assignment data using judgment and complex querying techniques.
  • Development of system data reports for various departments using varied programming formats.
  • Complete Special circuit audit review each quarter accurate coding with report of findings to Engineers and Supervisor staff.
  • Completes all required and requested reports in a timely and accurate manner as directed by supervisor.
  • Issues work order to other departments
  • Opens work orders in system.
  • Works with sales support and accounting to make sure money is collected for work order.
  • Work order entry and smart sheets update.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Minimum Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma plus 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to hold a valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:Working Conditions:Work generally will be accomplished in an office setting. Some travel may be required. Work hours are generally 20-40 hours per week depending on classification.
