We are an established health services organization and have an opportunity available at one of our New York City ambulatory care health centers for an Assistant Administrator. This position serves as a fundamental part of the Health Center Management Team. The individual is responsible for assisting with the daily practices of the assigned Health Center, including operational, administrative, and financial responsibilities. The individual will foster a professional and collaborative environment for clinical and administrative staff. It collaborates with the Health Center Administrator and all onsite departments to ensure successful operations to meet clinical needs, promote patient satisfaction, and maintain financial responsibility. This position promotes employee satisfaction, accountability, and a strong sense of integrity in the workplace. Responsibilities: Implements policies and procedures under the direction of the Administrator and Medical Director. Assists in hiring, training, monitoring and disciplining health center staff. Coaches front line managers through the progressive discipline process. Manages operation to maximize productivity, decrease patient no show rate and cultivates same day appointment opportunities. Coaches front line managers to execute team milestones and deadlines. Serve as project lead on new initiatives and projects. Manages projects/assignments from implementation to completion. Develop goals and strategies based on observations and interactions with staff and patients. Reviews assigned schedules and tasks for efficiency and re-allocation due to operational needs. Clarifies and disseminate information to multi-disciplinary health center staff.Required Qualifications: Preferred 4 years of progressive leadership experience in Ambulatory Care setting Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership ability and team management Excellent analytical, critical, and abstract reasoning skills Experience and knowledge in strategic planning, resource optimization, and leadership development Knowledge of medical record system and scheduling programs (Cerner preferred) Knowledge of PCMH and Article 28 requirements High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Bachelor's Degree in Business Health Administration or related fieldsIn addition to a competitive salary, we provide an outstanding employer-paid benefits package.
