Job Description :

The Seminole Youth Home provides foster care for Tribal children ages 0 to 17 years old. We are looking for a Assistant Behavior Analyst to supervise team of RBTs, schedule is fairly flexible however we're looking for evening coverage and occasional weekends. Generally hours can be 1pm to 10pm, 12pm to 9pm, and 11am to 8pm. There can be some 8am to 5pm but since it's a residential setting, the BCaBA needs to be flexible when working later hours to be on premises to train and work directly with the children when they are home from school.

While the Youth Home is located on the Big Cypress Reservation at 35195 Henry Osceola Rd, Clewiston, FL 33440, staff can clock-in first at at our Hollywood office 6365 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024 then drive the 1 hour 20 minute distance to the Youth Home on the Big Cypress Reservation.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Youth Home & CCDT Behavioral Analysis Program Administrator, the incumbent in this position is responsible for providing oversight of all Youth Home behavioral programing efforts including conducting functional assessments and behavioral diagnostics treatment plans, behavioral plans, supervision of RBT team, data entry and graphing, creation of quarterly reports, etc. Youth Home is located on the Big Cypress Reservation, so there will be regular commuting to 31277 Josie Billie Hwy, Clewiston, FL 33440.

Qualifications / Requirements

Master's degree on Behavior Analysis or related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is required. Current and valid certification of the State of Florida as a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is required. Ability to complete two thousand (2,000) hours of standard supervised work, over a over a six (6) months period in order to receive the Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) designation is required. Ability to complete all aspects of the trained state approved physical intervention course used in Youth Home. Individuals must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all STOF's Reservations. This position requires to work a flexible schedule that includes regular evening and weekend shifts to support the consistent and effective implementation of behavioral techniques, tailored to the needs of the home and its residents.
