The Assistant Clinical Director of Laboratory Services will directly report to the Senior Clinical Director of Laboratory Services. This individual must provide any pressing updates regarding the status of the laboratory to their superior and will be expected to work together with this individual to guarantee all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a direct leader to the Assistant Clinical Manager of Laboratory Services, the Assistant Clinical Director of Laboratory Services must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and/or critical situation. The Assistant Clinical Director of Laboratory Services will serve as a mentor to the various Clinical Supervisor of Laboratory Services and Laboratory Technicians and must be set the tone of a cohesive and united department that's main focus to provide excellent care for the hospital's patients. The Assistant Clinical Director of Laboratory Services will be expected to help manage and provide direct oversight to the laboratory department while their team performs various clinical assessments. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within their laboratory, the Assistant Clinical Director of Laboratory Services will be required to be well-versed in any and all clinical equipment utilized within their department. The Assistant Clinical Director of Laboratory Services must be regularly informed regarding the work being administered within the laboratory, and must be able to highlight their team's strengths, and pinpoint any weaknesses and provide the necessary training to address any matter.
