Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years of age for Assistant CoachHold a valid and current CPR/First Aid Certification CardHave or can obtain clearances from Washington State Patrol and FBI Background checkTwo or more years experience as a Coach or Assistant CoachPreferred Qualifications:
Preferences given to specific sport coaching experience and individuals with teaching experience.Essential Job Functions:
Organize, direct and supervise all junior varsity practice sessions at appropriate times. Emphasize safety precautions. Be aware of best training procedure and injury preventative actions.Accompany and direct the team in all interscholastic activities at home or away (including bus travel) and be responsible for conduct of self and teams in an ethical manner during contests and practices in accordance with Athletic Code of Conduct.Assist the head coach in making recommendations for equipment to be purchased and facility maintenance improvements needed. Assist in maintaining inventory records, team and individual statistical records and recommending students for letters and awards.Assume the responsibility of the Head Coach in his/ her absence, if designated.Additional duties listed on job description - available upon requestTo Apply:
