Position Summary

This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance or accounting professional that is ready to take the next step in their career with an industry leader that has over 50 years of proven success. This position will oversee and provide accounting support as well as financial management across the Company's owned Distributors. This individual will be involved with projects within the financial management areas as well as providing financial support with the monthly and annual financial statements. This role works directly with the local Distributor's teams as well as Arrow's Corporate Accounting & Finance team. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

* Oversee daily operations of finance at Distributors including recording and review of postings within the G/L, ensuring accuracy of inputs and supporting calculations as well as adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

* Supervise a team of two onsite senior accountants who help consolidate and manage the monthly close for the distributors as well as accountants located at Distributors.

* Using the Company's global account reconciliation software (OneStream), reconcile G/L accounts at month-end, focusing on ensuring sufficient evidence exists to justify account balances.

* Provide monthly reporting to management, Corporate Accounting & Finance teams.

* Assist with planning, executing, and reporting on the status of ad hoc projects to improve systems and procedures.

* Focus on continuous improvement of our processes, accounting policies, internal controls and associated documentation with an emphasis on reducing inefficiencies and increasing accuracy.

* Assist with the annual audit by external public accounting firm.

* Assist in the development of the annual budget and perform budget to actual analysis on monthly basis.

* Participate in the annual Physical Inventory or Cycle Counting process.

Requirements

Experience and Education

* BS/BA in Accounting

* Minimum of 8 years related work experience in industry or public accounting

* Pursuit of CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus

* Manufacturing or public accounting experience preferred, but not required

* Experience in managing/interacting with a multitude of stand-alone branches/distributor locations a plus

* Demonstrate a focus on continuous improvement and process excellence

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

* Proficient in MS Excel including Pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.

* Working knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

* Knowledge of Sage and OneStream a plus

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Proactive team player

* Critical thinker

* Ability to work well both independently and on a team

* Ability to think critically and reason on your own

* Ability to travel to Distributors if needed
