Assistant Controller

Position Overview: The Assistant Controller will be assisting in all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls and reports directly to the Controller. You will play an important role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Controller with the monthly ERP close process to help ensure the consistency and accuracy of the company's financial information as well as assist with transactions during the normal course of business.
• Assist with the company budgets and control procedures for adherence to agreed spending.
• Maintain internal control, systems and procedures throughout all of accounting.
• Transmit accurate and complete financial information to Flomatic Management in accordance with schedule.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations.
• Review, approve and create journal entries.
• Help establish and maintain accurate records of all capital additions and depreciation.
• Help with the daily processes around the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with the annual audit with the external auditors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and CPA required.
• Minimum two years' working experience in accounting or finance.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
• Maintain the company's chart of accounts and accounting policy
• Assist and coordinate the annual audit with the external
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
