ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:

The Matric Group, consisting of Matric Limited, Dynamic and Windurance, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller for their operations. The Matric Group is a family owned contract electronics business with a history of progressive growth.

The Assistant Controller will assist the Controller with general and cost accounting functions and the preparation of financial statements and reports.

The Assistant Controller will additionally:

* Be a team player and business partner.

* Embrace business improvements.

* Ensure accuracy and compliance.

* Possess strong financial acumen with a hands on approach to digging into numbers and projects.

* Be tech savvy with strong knowledge of spreadsheets and ERP systems.

* Be experienced in managing and developing an accounting team.

* Have understanding of the day-to-day functions of AP, AR and Accounting.

We are looking for the following qualifications:

* Financial Planning and Analysis experience

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or its equivalent.

* Commitment to strong values and integrity

* High level of proficiency in spreadsheets and ERP systems (SyteLine software a plus).
