Position Summary:To assist the Controller in the auditing of financial information, daily activity reporting and the implementation of proper internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements. Assist in managing, supporting, and developing accounting staff. Work effectively with operational staff to revolve finance related issues.Essential Functions:

• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues
• Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Assist with the annual external financial statement audit
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance
• Basic treasury functions
• Produce and process monthly rental statements
• Coordinate with the accounts payable team to ensure timely payment to vendors
• Create and send out monthly billings

Education, Experience, and Skills Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required
• 2+ years' experience in general accounting
• Experience with general ledger systems
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Professional communication skills-verbal and written
