Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Job DescriptionPosition Overview: Under general supervision of the general manager and operational manager with latitude for independent judgment and initiative, assists in the planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating of administrative and office operations in a variety of organizational settings and modalities in the delivery of business and management support systems, health care and patient support systems. Integrates these programs, functions and services with other hospitals and Central Office sectors to maximize optimal levels of performance in the coordination of such activities.Responsibilities: •Directly reports to the General manager and operations manager.•Provides support and assistance in daily operations of Food Service department. Assists employees and visitors with information and any documents needed.•Manges recordkeeping procedures. Check records for accuracy and completeness.•Serves as liaison between department administrative, technical and professional divisions and other health and hospital facilities.•Involved in weekly payroll and completing all related payroll submission processes for the department•Involved in preparation for the state survey and ongoing projects•Assists in budgetary planning, performs cost studies and helps prepare department budgets.•Is responsible for employee supervision, performance and employee development of assigned personnel in areas of responsibility and accountability.•Supervises the office administration and office record keeping activities of the Department•Works independently to create various departmental reports such as but not limited to monthly departmental report, Quality assurance reports, formulary report, labor report, meal count report, nourishment report.•Assist general manger in disciplinary actions processes•Assists with people soft ordering system and inventory for the department•Ensures confidentiality and privacy when dealing with employee's records, personal information and any all documents in the Department.•Responds to requests for personnel records in a timely manner. Adheres to recordkeeping protocol to issue for a personnel folder. Assures all employee files and documents are up to date.•Performs responsible clerical work such as filing of incoming documents in the chronological order into employees' personnel folders for the facility.•Provides phone coverage as needed. Participates in annual events: Employee Recognition Day, Christmas Party, BBQ, thanksgiving party.•May be assigned additional task and or project by General managerMinimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medical/patient systems administration; or,2.
