Assistant Dietary Manager - Elder Care of Bemidji : Job Details

Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPosition Details: Full-Time Position, Hourly, Non-unionShift:11-7:30 pm, shift may vary at times Responsible to Dietary Manager. Assists with inventory control, putting away stock, and ordering, implementing policies and procedures, scheduling, audits, staff education, attending resident care conferences as needed, inputting information into dietary software, assisting with meal tickets, updating forms, etc. Will fill in shifts as cook or dietary aide as needed. Other duties as assigned. On call and weekend rotation with Dietary Manager.Benefit Eligible

Requirements

• ServSafe Certified, or can become certified within 3 months of hire
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and have the ability to improvise, if necessary
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Experience in quality cooking
• Management and leadership skills
• Attention to detail
• Computer skills
• Ability to work well with people
• Strong clear communication is a must as well as a commitment to improving the knowledge and skill of dietary services
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must qualify for employment, after drug screening, TB test, and criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Salary Description $24-$29/hour depending on experience
