Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Admissions Communications and Marketing is responsible for the plan, creation, implementation and evaluation of key aspects of admissions communications, specifically the social media and texting initiatives supporting enrollment goals and priorities. These initiatives play a critical role in the marketing and communication efforts to prospective students and their families. The focus includes the development and delivery of critical messaging throughout the admissions cycle and all levels of the enrollment funnel. This position plays an essential role in the enrollment communications efforts, ensuring messaging is timely, appropriate, and in compliance with Trinity branding guidelines.
Job Duties
* Plan, create, implement, and evaluate key aspects of admissions communications initiatives, with an emphasis on social media, direct mail, and electronic communication initiatives to support enrollment goals and priorities, including:
>Developing, designing, proofreading, and producing engaging communication pieces accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
>Managing the entire production process of select projects from start to finish.
* Social media lead for the Admissions office developing and releasing content targeting prospective students. Leading and developing Admissions communications interns (student-workers) in the creation of engaging social media content as part of the strategy
* Key member of the admissions editorial and communications review committee to ensure accuracy and clarity in communications. This includes writing, editing, and proofreading letters, emails, website copy, publications, and other promotional materials.
>Collaborating with office leadership of recruitment and outreach, campus visit and events, and operations to ensure all communication efforts reflect the needs and deliver the anticipated results.
* Working closely, in support of the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Communications and Marketing and consistently with Trinity's Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing team members to ensure proper alignment of admissions messaging with broader university messaging, and to efficiently leverage resources and collateral.
>This position will also work with campus constituencies as directed focusing on communication efforts to synthesize and streamline messaging to incoming and continuing students.
* Develop and monitor reports to assess the effectiveness of communications efforts, analyzing data from several sources and providing recommendations for marketing and communications strategies.
> For social media, reviewing and monitoring analytics to assess the success of communications campaigns and adjusting as needed to reach enrollment targets.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Communications and Marketing.

EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's degree (B.A) from four-year college or University
Preferred:
EXPERIENCE
Required: Over one year to 3 years

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
* Required: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in graphic design, video editing, photography, and proofreading strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Canva preferred.
* Strong, self-motivated work ethic and a competitive spirit.
* Highly organized, attentive to detail, technically proficient, and dedicated to the office and the University.
Preferred:
* Experience with a CRM or similar platform, preferably Technolutions Slate.
* Proven ability to work with a wide variety of people.
* High energy, creative initiative, flexibility, and a sense of humor are essential.
