Assistant Director of Admissions - Full Time

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Admissions to join our Admissions team to serve as a subject matter expert, acting as the single point of decision making for patient Admissions.

This position is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Social Worker to administer policies in relation to Admissions, assist with directing the Admissions team on a day-to-day basis, and develop and manage goals, objectives, and marketing initiatives.

The Assistant Director of Admissions will play a key role by having the responsibility and accountability for the Admissions department and oversee daily operations of Admissions for the skilled nursing facility (SNF).

Position Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in NYS or NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience in a hospital setting and/or skilled nursing required.
• Experience with admissions, discharge planning and case management.
• Ability to work independently and with a team across a variety of disciplines.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
