A Skilled Nursing Facility is hiring a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Rockland County, NY.DUTIES:Assist in managing and maintaining high-quality care servicesLead weekly Wound/Skin RoundsSupport compliance efforts and ensure effective communication with nursing staff at all levelsAddress the nursing medical needs of all residentsBe available 24/7 on callOversee the planning and coordination of nursing servicesMaintain a solid understanding of general nursing theory and practiceEnsure accurate and timely completion of medical recordsParticipate in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staffSupervise and manage daily staffing needsAssist with infection control effortsRemain flexible with work hours to accommodate unforeseen needsREQUIREMENTS:Current RN license in the stateMinimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settingsAt least 2 years of management experience preferred1 year of experience in staff education preferredExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated leadership and supervisory skillsFlexibility in scheduling required.
