Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) - $5000 Sign-on Bonus - South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging : Job Details

Assist Healthcare Director of Nursing in clinical and management duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Help oversee maintenance of resident clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organizational activities as required by the organization

Ensure delivery of compassionate, quality care and clinical supervision to meet community, regulatory and budgetary standards

Ensure compliance with all regulations from DHEC, Fire and Safety, OSHA,Labor Laws and adhere to HIPAA standards and Resident's Rights

Assist in preparation of regulatory inspections and surveys

Act as liaison between residents, physicians, families and appropriate health care resources

In absence of Dir. of Nursing, vested with authority to act on behalf of the Director of Nursing

RN or Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing

Current SC RN license

Familiar with management principles and practices

Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional clinical personnel

Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and other regulations and legal policies including resident rights

Understanding of physical and psychological effects of the aging process

Excellent observation, ,communication skills including problem resolution
