Assistant Director of Perioperative Services - ProRank : Job Details

ProRank is a boutique search firm and we are working with a client to help them fill a position for an Assistant Director of Perioperative Services, providing leadership and direction for perioperative services at the hospital level.

In this key leadership role, you will oversee the development and integration of programs, policies, and protocols aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, quality, patient safety, and customer satisfaction across surgical services. Collaborating with facility administrators and hospital/system directors, you will ensure smooth integration of perioperative services while driving high performance and financial oversight. You will manage budgets, capital requirements, and resource optimization, and hold staff accountable for meeting performance standards. Additionally, you will develop and track performance metrics, lead initiatives to improve patient, physician, and staff satisfaction, advise leadership on service line expansion, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current Illinois RN license or the ability to transfer/acquire Illinois RN license
• 10+ years of experience in perioperative services
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Proven track record of managing perioperative services and driving operational excellence
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements for surgical services
