Assistant Engineer - Hazen and Sawyer : Job Details

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking candidates for a full-time Assistant Engineer to join our structural department. This position will develop skills in the design and analysis of environmental structures such as Industrial Buildings, Pump Stations, Process Basins, and Treatment Facilities. The position will also include construction submittal review. Chosen individual will acquire experience in steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, and aluminum design in addition to gaining familiarity with building codes and structural analysis and design software. Candidates must be effective communicators and be able to successfully work in a multi-discipline team environment. Candidate should have strong technical skills and general experience with structural design software. Prospective applicants must have between 0 and 2 years experience and have a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration from an ABET accredited institution. Prospective applicants must also have or be in process of obtaining EIT status via successful completion of the FE exam.
