Job Summary/Basic Functions
The incumbent will assist the Farm Manager in managing activates at EKU's Meadowbrook Farm. Under the leadership of the Farm Manager, perform day-to-day tasks of a modern farm operation including but not limited to breeding, artificial insemination, healthcare, sanitation, maintenance of facilities and equipment, sterilization and record keeping. In addition, Assistant Manager will work closely with the Farm Manager in conducting laboratory projects, field days/tours and applied research project. The incumbent must maintains a flexible work schedule which includes rotating weekends and holidays as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in agriculture or related field.
Experience: Three years of related work experience with animals and crops.
Licensure & Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license.

* 50% - Assists in Leading and Facilitating Farm Activities directly related to livestock and cropping operations, equipment, maintenance, and record keeping. - ()
* 20% - Assist the Farm Manager with routine daily tasks. - ()
* 20% - Assists with laboratory projects, lead field days/tours, and assist with research/lab projects and proposals as needed. - ()
* 10% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - ()
