Assistant Infant Teacher - Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers : Job Details

Heartfelt Impressions is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team in Lake Orion. As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will provide exceptional care and education for young children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 1 year. You will collaborate with and support the Lead Infant Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants. Shift Details/Pay Rate:

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• $13 - $16 per hour*

*pay rate will be based on experience, education, current employment status and/or years of service Requirements:

• Have a CDA or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education ore related field (preferred)
• Background Check
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation
• Prior experience with Infants in the classroom setting (preferred)

• Ensures overall safety of children
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student's needs and interests
• Implement High Scope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
• Attend company/school meetings
• Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
• Physically able to lift 15 pounds
