An industry leading medical textile rental service provider serving the healthcare industry is seeking a hands-on Assistant Maintenance Manager for their industrial maintenance team in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a highly visible role which assists in managing aspects of the maintenance department, including personnel, machinery repair, preventive maintenance systems, and more. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor position requires you to take charge and supervise when the manager is occupied. Reports to Maintenance Manager.The Assistant Maintenance Manager will oversee 30 mechanics and porters. However, since it's the day shift, the manager will be there as well. Responsibilities include:- Supervises mechanics and porters- Maintains the preventive maintenance programs- Aids the maintenance team in performing diagnostic troubleshooting- Monitors quality of repairs- Oversees building and physical plant repair issues- Maintains porter schedule to maximize cleaning effectiveness of plant and machinery- Adheres to safety programsSchedule:Sunday - Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm - off Friday and SaturdayCompensation: $85K - $95K base salary DOE, 5% merit bonus, 401k match, full benefits, and growth!!
