Job Summary:The Assistant Managersupports the Store Manager in leading a Vanilla Sky store location. TheAssistant Manager partners with the Store Manager to achieve sales results bycreating a positive team environment and running a client-focused business.Expectations:Leadership Responsibilities Models andteaches store associates to support a positive client-centric environment. Models andcoaches effective Manager on Duty behaviors to maximize performance andproductivity. Upholds apositive work environment. Partners with Store Manager to create goals and development plans thatsupport performance needs and career growth. AssistsStore Manager with recruitment and new hire training Works with the Store Manager to assess the effectiveness of the team andprovide the appropriate level of coaching performance feedback.Selling & Client Service Exhibits apassion for delivering exceptional client service and inspires by example. Handles complex client situations in compliance with policy andprocedures. Aids inmonitoring daily, weekly and monthly sales goals of all associates and ensurequality selling and client service standards are met. Executes action plans to improve key performance indicators to maximizebusiness. Drivessales on the floor and monitors selling, service and clienteling behaviors. Promotes community involvement to drive brand awareness and loyalty. Partnerswith Visual Merchandising to maintain visual standards and esthetic.Daily Operations
  • Balancesassigned Division of Responsibility with overall needs of the store by takingownership and responsibility of any area of the business when necessary.
  • Ensures that the store is maintaining daily visual merchandisingstandards.
  • Works withStore Manager to maximize sales by ensuring an efficient and client-centricstore operation.
  • Partnerswith Store Manager to oversee and execute timely completion of all daily andweekly routines, including but not limited to: opening and closing of thestore; banking procedures; schedule compliance; productivity, store goals andweekly payroll projections; corporate driven communications.
  • Maintainsselling floor, stockroom and cash bar with proper supplies, organization andcleanliness with consistency.
  • Assists in controlling payroll and controllable expenses.
  • Ensuresloss prevention compliance in order to minimize loss and achieve shrink goals.Qualifications
  • At least1-3 years of retail experience
  • At least 6months of management experience preferred
  • Luxury or contemporary experience preferred
  • Passionfor customer service, styling and product
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales
  • Ability to interact cooperatively and work as a team towards a commongoal
  • Excellentoral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Keen senseof detail and highly organized
