Qualifications: - Extensive retail experience in a supervisor role - Previous management experience preferred but not required - Open availability for weekdays, weekends, AM or PM shifts, and holidays - Pet industry experience preferred but not required - Comfortable with dogs and pets of all sizes - Thrives in a high-paced sales environment - A proven track record of working with and leading a team by example - Loves and is dedicated to pet health and wellness! Assistant Managers at Tailwaggers work closely with and are mentored by our Location Managers and are a part of our Management team. Through ongoing (paid) training, successful Assistant Managers have a great opportunity to build their professional skills and grow with the company through possible promotional opportunities in the future. This role will require (paid) training in our Sales Associate and Keyholder roles before qualifying for consideration for the Assistant Manager position pending a Training Review and approval process.
