Tishman Speyer currently has approximately $68 billion in assets under management, including iconic properties such as Rockefeller Center in New York City, The Springs in Shanghai, TaunusTurm in Frankfurt, and Mission Rock in San Francisco.Summary of the Position:The Assistant Operations Manager will support Operations Managers and the General Manager with the day-to-day operations for the Top of the Rock Observation Deck located in 30 Rockefeller Plaza.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assure a safe, clean, pleasant, professional, and efficient experience for all guests at the attraction. Perform walk through of the entire attraction many times per day to ensure that all standards are being met.
  • Ensure that guests have a memorable experience by encouraging customer service engagement of hourly employees.
  • Coordinate with appropriate building personnel to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the attraction.
  • Assists Management in supervising hourly staff. Assists with supervision of staff through education, employee motivation and consults with Human Resources on disciplinary action.

  • Be able to understand and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Have sufficient knowledge and ability to utilize following software: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, as well as learn internal operations system(s).
  • Be responsive the needs and concerns of hourly associates.
  • Combine assertiveness with diplomacy to assure that information communicated is received.
  • Write clear, concise, and focused email messages.

The base compensation range for this role is $62,000 to $64,000. This role is also eligible for an Incentive Compensation Plan as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role.
