Who is Expro?Working for our clients across the entire well life cycle, Expro is a visionary full-cycle energy services expert offering novel, insightful solutions, dependable competency and award-winning safety.Combining innovative, future-facing technology with high-quality data across well construction, well flow management and production, subsea well access, and well integrity and intervention, we have a reputation for extraordinary performance that keeps our clients operations running smoothly.Expro is currently recruiting for an Assistant Operator 3 to join the Well Testing & Commissioning team based in Broussard, Louisiana.Overall Purpose of the JobExpro's Midstream division provides services to pipeline operators in support of commissioning, pigging, integrity and abandonment projects.Key Activities and Accountabilities* Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating Manual.* Provides support with flaring, pigging, separation, filtering, heaters, instrumentation, nitrogen and other related services.* Undertake checks on all equipment for their compliance with Expro's policies, standards, and procedures, and ensure they are technically correct for the operation being carried out.* Attend and participate in toolbox talks and planning meetings when required.* Work at bases in the preparation and return of equipment as needed.* Liaise with client representatives in a professional manner to ensure the quality of service to the client.* Communicate with Supervisor, team members, and operations department as necessary to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed and effectively managed.* Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes, and specific client requirements.* Communicate with clients and colleagues to ensure that work is completed according to specifications and expectations.* Share knowledge with team members to assist with their competency progression when required.* Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and future roles.* Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures, and processes to maintain the highest ethical standards and minimize exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation. Report any potential violations or conflicts of interest.* Comply with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes, and systems. Participate in quality improvement processes and report any deficiencies to the supervisor. Obtain authorization for deviations from standard procedures.* Comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and processes. Promote HSE awareness and take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and follow the 12 Safety House Rules at all times.* Perform other duties as assigned.Job Knowledge and Qualifications1. On call 24/7 except for approved time off days. Must be able to work day or night shift depending on project needs.2. Clean driving record. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus. May obtain company-sponsored after employment.3. Intermittent travel within the U.S. required. Opportunities for international travel may arise.4. Pipeline/Well Test: Separation, Filtration and Flaring experience is a plus.5. Must pass pre-employment criminal background check, hair and urine drug and alcohol test, pre-employment physical and mechanical aptitude test.6. 1+ years technical experience preferred within relevant field.Why Expro?People are the most important.
