Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a leading planning consultancy based in Sheffield, who are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Planner to join their vibrant team.\n\nRole Overview: As an Assistant Planner, you'll gain hands-on experience while working on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You'll support the team with research, planning applications, policy analysis, and liaising with stakeholders, helping to deliver successful planning outcomes!\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupport the team in preparing and submitting planning applications, reports, and documents.\nAssist with site assessments and data collection to inform planning decisions.\nConduct research on planning policies, regulations, and local constraints.\nWork closely with senior planners to coordinate projects and engage with clients.\nPrepare planning reports, statements, and other documentation as required.\nCommunicate with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
