Fort Hays State University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank, in the Department of Health and Human Performance beginning the fall 2025 semester. Rank and salary will be commensurate with educational level and experience. Responsibilities Include:Teaching 12 hours per semester (24 hours per year) is required with the possibility of voluntary intersession and summer overload. Teaching content will include both undergraduate and graduate coursework. Instructional coursework may include a variety of recreation and sport management areas, as well as other courses yet to be determined. In addition, assisting with the departmental assessment process, academic mentoring, participation in scholarly activities, service to the university, the profession, and the community are requirements of this position.
