Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.The Lewis College of Business, housed in a newly built state-of-the-art facility Brad D. Smith Center for Business & Innovation, is one of ten colleges at Marshall University, a Carnegie R2 research institute in Huntington, West Virginia. The College, dual accredited by AACSB, is currently experiencing growth in its graduate and doctoral programs. The college recently received a transformative $25 million gift from alumnus and former Intuit Chairman and CEO Brad D. • Qualified candidate will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Finance or closely related discipline. ABD applicants may be considered but must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree (verified by official transcripts) at the time of appointment.

Experience

• Candidate must possess interest and/or demonstrated ability to teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses using both face-to-face and online delivery methods, demonstrate effective teaching ability and above-average teaching performance, and be committed to participating in department, college, and university services.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have teaching and research interests in areas such as financial analytics, risk management, computational finance, corporate finance, and investments.
• Teaching experience with The Bloomberg Terminal and/or experience supervising a student-managed investment fund is a plus.
