Assistant Professor of Communication/Debate Coach - TENNESSEE TECH UNIVERSITY : Job Details

Essential Functions Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate communication courses including interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, health communication, rhetoric, and/or organizational communication, and be committed to the continued improvement of teaching using research-based practices.Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in communication; experience in debate and/or forensics. Ability to teach in a variety of undergraduate and graduate communication courses including interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, health communication, rhetoric, and/or organizational communication, and be committed to the continued improvement of teaching using research-based practices. Willingness to teach on-line is required.Preferred Qualifications Experience coaching debate and forensics is preferred. Ability to teach classes in argumentation and debate and/or persuasion preferred. Practice/training in teaching online and/or hybrid classes preferred. Ability to teach and/or conduct research in Artificial Intelligence preferred.Compensation and Benefits
