Salary Range or Pay Grade$100,000 - $125,000DescriptionThe Programs in Physical Therapy at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time (12-month) faculty position. The successful candidate is primarily expected to build research capacity and expertise in musculoskeletal physical therapy and/or exercise and maintain an active funded research agenda. The candidate is expected to actively seek internal or external funding and enhance the didactic and research mentorship for post-professional Doctor of Education in Movement Science (Physical Therapy) students. Responsibilities of core faculty include teaching, scholarship, service, and student advisement. Opportunities exist for clinical teaching or practice at the Columbia University Physical Therapy Faculty Practices (Columbia Doctors) and/or New York Presbyterian (CUIMC).
The candidate will join a team of 17 core faculty, 8 clinical faculty, and numerous adjunct faculty from New York Presbyterian (CUIMC) and the surrounding tri-state area who are experts in their fields and committed to excellence. We seek a candidate who will pursue excellence in physical therapy through intellectual curiosity, evidence-based teaching, and scholarly inquiry.
