ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Scott Humphrey has partnered with General Contractors for Healthcare, Data Centers, K-12 in the construction field looking for an Assistant Project Manager who will be overseeing Projects assigned based on where each PM, Superintendent, PE, and Asst Super live so that the commute is as short as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain material tracking logs
• Research, develop and write detailed RFIs
• Coordinate with Design team for efficient responses to submittals and RFIs
• Present in weekly project status meetings
• Assist with project forecasting and month end financial reporting
• Manage changes and ensure proper distribution of construction documents and/or project scope to ensure that the most current documents are being used
• Coordinate with project team to ensure materials are available when needed on site
• Review and verify constructability of plans and specifications
• Contribute to the buy-out process by requesting and reviewing bids and aligning budgets as necessary to create subcontracts
• Perform detailed review and processing of project submittals

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• with at least a year of experience in construction industry, preferably on ground up, new commercial construction projects (Healthcare, Data Centers, K-12)
• Efficient knowledge in construction computer software and Microsoft Suite
