re you a driven Civil Engineer or Construction Manager with a passion for infrastructure projects? We're looking for sharp-minded professionals with proven experience in construction to support upcoming projects in the civil and infrastructure sectors.
This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects such as roadways, bridges, and other FDOT-related infrastructure while leveraging your technical expertise and project management skills to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules for maximum efficiency.
- Prepare baseline schedules and scheduling basis documents for project team approval.
- Analyze critical paths and near-critical activities to identify and mitigate impacts.
- Monitor schedule deviations, variances, and propose corrective actions as needed.
- Generate schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy and credibility of project schedules and evaluate logic and float paths.
- Review schedules regularly with project teams to maintain alignment and accuracy.
- Evaluate activity sequences for constructability and assess change orders for scheduling impacts.
- Create resource-loaded schedules as required.
- Conduct job-site walks to verify progress and accuracy of scheduled activities.
- Draft subcontracts, RFIs, purchase orders, and negotiate pricing to achieve cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed project submittals and oversee budgeting and cost projections.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries.
- Attend progress meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily installation records and progress photos.
Field Activities Include:
- Tracking daily progress for record drawings and installation quantities.
- Equipment hour tracking and on-site meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conducting field inspections and attending necessary on-site meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of construction scheduling experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of industrial construction processes and logic sequencing for complex projects.
- Ability to interpret contract specifications, plans, and drawings.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of contract procedures and principles.
- P.E. license is a plus but not required.
