Assistant Project Manager - BNW Services : Job Details

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (GC) Location: West Palm Area (Projects in West Palm, Boynton, Delray)Overview: We are actively hiring 3-4 Assistant Project Managers (APMs) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Project Engineers (PEs) looking to advance or newer APMs ready to gain hands-on experience in multifamily and condo projects. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction management, experience with General Contractors (GCs), and a desire to contribute to high-quality projects in the West Palm area.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers in all phases of construction, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Oversee onsite operations, document control, and subcontractor coordination to ensure smooth project progression.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and milestones, providing updates to the project team.
• Collaborate with field teams to manage quality control, safety compliance, and project documentation.
• Serve as a point of contact for project-related communication between stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing project reports, schedules, and materials for internal and external meetings.
• Provide support during project closeout, ensuring all documentation and requirements are complete.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role, with a desire to grow into an Assistant Project Manager position.
• Prior experience with General Contractors (preferably from companies like Whiting Turner, Moss, etc.); candidates from smaller GCs will not be considered.
• Knowledge of construction processes, document control, and project coordination.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work onsite and in-office as needed.
• Local candidates preferred for immediate availability.
