About the Role
We are currently looking for a full-time Assistant Project Manager based in the Greenville, South Carolina area, with a background in commercial construction. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with trade partners, suppliers, and the entire project team to ensure the effective execution of projects, delivering top-notch results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain project contact lists in SharePoint.Prepare and track submittal logs and lists, ensuring proper coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.Coordinate material deliveries with the superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers.Initiate, research, and track Requests for Information (RFIs).Address inquiries from subcontractors and suppliers regarding shop drawings and contract details.Prepare and manage Owner Change Order requests, ensuring timely approval.Develop and distribute monthly Owner Payment Applications.Ensure subcontractors and suppliers receive the latest contract documents.Attend and participate in project progress meetings to track project status and resolve issues.Assist in the development, updating, and maintenance of the project schedule to ensure timely project completion.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.At least 2 years of commercial construction experience (preferred).OSHA certification (preferred).Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and architectural drawings.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Phoenix).Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
