07th November, 2024Job Title:Assistant Project Manager - Plumbing & Mechanical ConstructionCompany Overview:We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our client that will provide full support to the Field Management team in all aspects of a project. In this direct placement opportunity your focus will be on project organization, maintaining logs, procurement of submittals for equipment and materials, and ensuring the project stays on budget and on schedule until completion. Our client values leadership, initiative, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to ensure successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and initiative, with an emphasis on problem-solving skills
• Document important phone calls with emails to ensure effective communication
• Populate and manage field folders and ensure safety documents are sent to the GC
• Review plans, specs, and contracts for any possible issues, and perform occasional site visits
• Create and manage submittal/delivery logs for distribution and track the submittal process

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience as an assistant project manager or similar role. Relevant education will also be considered.
• Strong leadership and initiative
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and documentation abilities
• Solid understanding of project management processes and construction industry standards
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
