(Elliot).Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. The team with this position opening specializes in the installation and maintenance of traffic signalization, roadway lighting, and street lights across multiple states. Job DescriptionWe're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our project operations, working hands-on with our materials, vendors, and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity where no two days are the same-and where your contributions will directly impact our success.What You'll Do:
  • Drive Project Momentum: Be the go-to for issuing purchase orders, ensuring all materials are in the right place at the right time.
  • Collaborate with Key Players: Work with vendors and partners to secure timely delivery and approvals, and keep materials flowing to keep projects on track.
  • Manage and Organize: Keep everything organized by managing materials and documentation across multiple projects.
  • Be the Budget Guru: Assist with maintaining project budgets and timelines by issuing RFIs, change orders, and staying proactive with necessary adjustments.
  • Be a Problem-Solver: Answer calls and emails from field teams, coordinate orders, provide updates, and help troubleshoot any challenges that arise.
  • Flexibility in Action: Some travel and occasional after-hours responses are required-but you'll be part of a supportive, close-knit team in the Lexington area, ready to make things happen!

  • Excellent customer service skills-you're responsive, attentive, and ready to build strong working relationships.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and SharePoint is a bonus, but your motivation to learn is what we value most.

  • High school Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Experience in the construction industry not required, but a bonus!
