This company is the largest and most innovative integrated building firm in the country.As the Assistant Project Manager, you will support the team leader on project management duties and responsibilities, including preconstruction, procurement, contract administration and closeout, identifying and mitigating risk, and project financial setup and maintenance.The candidate will work with the project team to sequence respective work with associated subcontractors and vendors and help ensure successful and safe project execution via company safety policies and OSHA. This position may either exercise direct supervision over laborers and craft workers or be responsible for directing an assigned segment of a project with one or more crafts. You must interpret construction documents, plans and specifications, and understand and interact with Project Engineers on assembly, organization, workflow, and review of RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.- Assist with schedule development and adherence for respective scopes of work- Develop and maintain daily reports- Identify and learn Lean Construction Practices/Principles- Follow direction, collaborate with all team members, and complete assigned tasks- Assist with schedule development and adherence for respective scopes of work. Base salary DOE. Tuition assistance up to $4400 annually, $1750 per semester, after 6 months active employment. Annual merit and performance pay raises. Relocation assistance.
