Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager with a passion for community and excellence to join our esteemed team at Grand Plaza Senior in Los Angeles! This position is paying a $1,000.00 Sign-On bonus, details below. Position: Assistant Property Manager Location: Grand Plaza Senior Apartments,our 302-unit residential community in Los Angeles, CA 90012 We are looking for Candidates with the following skills/experience:
- 2-4 years experience Leasing or APM experience with affordable/LIHTC and Sr. Living experience
- Prior or current experience with Yardi property management software
- Multilingual in English, Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin a plus!
What we are offering:
- $1,000.00 Sign-On bonus paid as follows: $500.00 is paid at the completion of your first 3-months, the remaining $500.00 is paid at the conclusion of 6-months of employment. Bonuses are paid in conjunction with our regularly scheduled payroll timeframes, and are taxable. Employee must be an active Employee at the time of the bonus pay outs.

- Prepare resident legal notices and process annual lease renewals
- Verify lease information accuracy; handle resident inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously
- Manage work orders and maintain accurate records in Yardi software
- Conduct unit inspections and manage move-in/move-out processes
- Assist in leasing activities, resident relations, and social event planning
- Supervise turnkey operations in the absence of the Property Manager
- Rent collection, follow up on delinquencies, and resolve accounting discrepancies
Position Requirements:
- Education:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years in the apartment industry, preferably in an Assistant Manager or lead Leasing position.
- Experience with LIHTC communities and Yardi software is preferred.
- Skills & Certifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
