POSITION:Assistant Provost for Adult and Graduate StudiesDESCRIPTION:East Texas Baptist University invites applications for Assistant Provost for Adult and Graduate Students. The Assistant Provost for Adult and Graduate Students will provide administrative oversight and strategic leadership for Adult and Graduate programs and will direct a comprehensive plan designed to grow and enhance current programs and lead the process for evaluations for future programs. The position begins November 2024 or when filled.QUALIFICATIONS:At least five years' experience in an academic setting as a faculty member or the member of an administrative staff.Candidates should have advanced-level experience in the following areas:
  • Lead the Director of Graduate Admissions and Masters and Doctorate Program Directors to set goals for each Fall and Spring semester as well as develop and maintain a funnel report tracking all essential data points.
  • Supervise the Director of Graduate Admissions, recruiters, and other staff in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
  • Responsible for Adult Education recruitment, admitting, advising, and oversight.
  • Develop and manage the marketing and advertising for Adult and Graduate programs for ETBU's main campus and other off-site locations including the development of online promotion and resources.
  • Provide requested and up-to-date information to the provost and other university personnel, as needed.
  • Establish and oversee a budget for the Adult and Graduate Studies division.
  • Provide enrollment oversight for multiple graduate sites.
  • Reports emerging trends and issues on Adult and Graduate Studies to the Provost.
  • Coordinate master's and doctorate curriculum proposals and changes along with deans and program directors.
  • Coordinate all graduate policies and catalog changes.
  • Chair the Graduate Programs Committee.
  • Serve on the Dean's Council.
  • Perform other special projects as assigned by the provost.
