Assistant Regional Property Manager - Oak Wood Ventures : Job Details

Oak Wood Ventures is presently seeking a full-time assistant regional property manager to oversee operations of multiple manufactured housing communities, RV and storage units in the Houston area. This includes managing budgets, financial performance, and staff while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

What will you have to do?

• Maintain property operations
• Oversee employees at each property and provide feedback and reports to corporate level
• Assist asset management team with all property level accounting and tenant transactions
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly updates for currently owned properties, to be distributed to investors
• Assist in the review of property financial statements
• Assist in renovations and construction projects
• Assist in vendor relations
• Continuously looks for ways to provide added value to existing assets
• All other duties as assigned

What do you have to have?

• Must have at least 2 years' experience in property management (Preferred Multi-family)
• You must understand a Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet, and be able to understand how each other report works together
• Entrepreneurial mindset – new ideas and strategies are highly valued
• Registered Driver's License – must be able to drive to properties
• Attention to detail and accountability for accuracy
• Sound problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office
• Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ability to be flexible and change priorities as needed
• Candidate must be willing and able to travel frequently, when necessary (all travel expenses paid)
