As a Department Manager at Wegmans, you'll use strong managerial and leadership skills, along with an understanding of our wide variety of unique, essential and seasonal products to ensure customer satisfaction and the success of the department. You will be responsible for everything from profitability to merchandising to employee development to problem solving. What will I do?

  • Oversee total department operations, ensuring internal programs are executed, important information is communicated, and expenses are controlled
  • Manage performance and develop employees within the department; provide resources, training, feedback and development opportunities
  • Educate customers and employees about products and ensure items are fresh and well-merchandised in innovative displays

Required Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of experience leading a team
  • Computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • A college degree
  • Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products
